Why the gateway choice matters

Shopify Payments is available in Singapore. A third-party gateway adds Shopify's third-party transaction fee on each sale, so compare the total cost, not just the gateway's rate.

Settlement speed, refunds and how payouts reach your accounts also differ between gateways.

Can I use Shopify Payments in Singapore?

Yes. Singapore is on Shopify's supported countries list. Some businesses add a third-party gateway such as 2C2P for other payment methods.

Does Shopify charge extra for a third-party gateway?

Yes. Shopify charges a third-party transaction fee on sales through gateways other than Shopify Payments. The rate depends on your Shopify plan.

Can I use more than one gateway?

Yes. Each extra gateway is another payout to reconcile, so we keep it to what your customers use.

Can you set up our payment gateway?

Yes. We help you choose, prepare the store for the gateway's review, install it on Shopify and test it. We can also connect payouts to your accounting system.
